The rotor shaft of the fan motor(Cooling fan shaft,pedestal motor fan shaft or solid shaft) currently uses a centerless optical shaft structure, which is easy to realize automatic production.
Since some shaft sections of the fan shaft require wear resistance, heat treatment must be performed. Therefore, reduction and timely elimination of heat treatment, mechanical deformation is a difficult process.
In view of the perspective of ensuring quality and reducing the manufacturing costs, the better processing method for the fan shaft is to perform quenching and tempering on the billet to give a certain hardness (HRC=28-32) to stabilize the metal structure and prevent deformation. Then perform high-frequency quenching on the bearing and worm sections, respectively (HRC=48-52).
Our current effective measure is to increase the mechanical straightening process. Strengthen the control of straightness, and strictly control the process requirements for heat treatment and mechanical processing to ensure that the product meets the assembly requirements.
